The Hemani Family {St. Petersburg Family Photographer}

I feel so lucky to have met this family. I knew Melissa from our high school days but hadn't seen much of her since then. She has a beautiful little girl and an amazing hubs to boot. They were awesome to work with and when Melissa told me she wanted a vintage feel to the photos, I got the tingles. I loved the idea especially with the gorgeous vintage headband Lilly arrived wearing.

And although she wouldn't keep her mary janes on for too long, we managed to get a before and after.

We used the Museum of Fine Arts as our backdrop which worked out better than I could have imagined.

I couldn't resist taking this one. Even though it's the entrance to a public restroom.
I loved these photos and I hope this family did too. Now they're off to decorate their new home and finish plans for their spring wedding. They deserve all the happiness in the world.

The Miller Family {St. Pete Florida Family Photographer}

Amberly was born about month before my own little guy so her momma and I shared lots of first time mom stuff and a beautiful friendship blossomed from there, aww. Seriously, this family is amazing.

Ugh. Those eyes, I'm dying.

Baby teeth are a bear but they look so darn cute.

I think this may be my favorite series.

The McBride Family {St. Petersburg Family Photographer}

Oh, Miss Kaiden.
Kaiden's momma and I go waaay back. And we just happened to have babies two weeks apart. This family is probably the kindest family you'll ever meet. I love me some McBride.

I don't think anything says Florida Christmas better than this one.

The Metzler Family Holiday {St. Pete Beach Family Photographer}

This family is especially close to my heart because Momma Metzler is one of my very best friends. And her boys, oh her boys. They are the smartest, most adorable little guys I've ever met, with the exception of one Cobe J.

Love the expressions in this one.

The whole point of this session was to get this,
the 2010 Metzler Christmas Card.

The Hunt Family {St. Petersburg Family Photographer}

This family was a total riot. I've known Niki since high school and figured that where sense of humor was concerned, the apple wouldn't fall far from the tree. After we loosened Tyler up a bit (by letting him climb a tree), the pictures started to flow.

I love this one. Often times, I tell couples to give each other a smooch but it's not the kiss I'm looking to shoot, it's the moments before or after that turn out to be the real gems.

I have a soft spot in my heart for momma-son moments. This one was my favorite from the session.

This guy has some amazing eyes but he wouldn't make eye contact with the camera for more then 2 seconds. Maybe I should have bribed him with candy. Hmmm.

And this one is another favorite. I'm a sucker for beautiful lighting.
Oh, and I should mention that not long after these were taken, Charlie & Kristen (right upper & lower) got engaged! Congrats to the whole family!
